Love for a Child

Do you have that one song? The one you keep for yourself and listen to in quiet spaces when no one else is around. It’s the song that speaks to things unspoken and gives you room you need. Room to feel and room to cry and room to hope.

This song has that power for me. To see it sung by the artist with such unfiltered emotion and vulnerability brought me to tears. Some may call it sad, but I think these moments are sacred. They are the heavy things let loose; the sound of healing as we hold ourselves with compassion when recalling the things that brought us pain.
